Ukrainian capital faced another wave of attacks from Russian forces on Thursday. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported the incident through social media, confirming that unmanned aerial vehicles targeted residential areas in the city.

According to the mayor's statement, one of the drones struck the Obolonsky district, landing in the space between residential buildings. The impact resulted in a fire breaking out in a nearby apartment block housing numerous residents.

Emergency services responded to the incident, working to contain the flames and evacuate people from the affected building. The exact number of casualties and extent of damage were being assessed at the time of the report.
